Collaborative improvisation dance piece
"desierto de sillas" (Wüste der Stühle) ist ein collaborative-live-improvisation Tanzstück, das eine ungewöhnliche ästhetische Erfahrung ermöglicht. Es ist ein theatrales Ereignis, das den Fokus auf die Ausdruckskraft des Körpers lenkt, mit elektronischen Klängen und Lichtinterventionen arbeitet und mit dem Publikum interagiert.
"desierto de sillas" (Desert of chairs) is a live collaborative improvisation dance piece that creates a high aesthetic experience. It is an art work centred on body intensity in which movement, electronic sound, light intervention and the public interact together.
From immensity, from nothing, from the desert or the empty, a character irrupts. She walks and sees. Warm lights in the hands of “an other” constructs her. The sound of a sandstorm. She coexists amongst imagery, throughout the chairs and people set around her. The confrontation between individuals and their own demons, their ancestors, and identities. To look into the eyes of an other as a mirror from one's personal desert. Finding the way to communicate through this desert, finding human empathy in this proximity.
